Science Is the “Forbidden Fruit” That Man Has Already Been Punished for Eating In the Book of Genesis; Enjoy It. – Prof. Nwosu
4-year-old Ibeka Nwosu, Jr. (IJ) debuted his latest skill during a recent family vacation in Florida that was also used to celebrate the toddler’s grandpa’s birthday. IJ’s surprise feat was to recite the entire Periodic Table in the exact order of the element’s atomic number. Eyes popped as the confident kid recited the Periodic Table to welcome Grandpa to his hotel suite at the resort. A video of IJ’s recital was recorded later by his mom, Talitha, when the family returned to base in Los Angeles, California.
The video above has gone viral on social media because many are astounded by the intellectual accomplishment of this four-year-old. Many were wowed and made some positive and complimentary remarks lauding IJ’s sharpness. But Professor Uchenna Nwosu (Odenigbo Igboukwu) did something more noteworthy. That a your-year-old grandson of an Igboukwu upstart can wrap his mind around the Periodic Table listing all the 118 elements known to man is seen by Prof. Nwosu as a teaching moment. In rapid succession, he wrote four short didactic articles to elucidate further the true essence of the Periodic Table and its nexus with science, creation and how nature works.
Prof. Nwosu’s articles are republished below as copied from the “Ideas Exchange Igboukwu” WhatsApp platform that the sage owns and moderates.
THE MEANING OF THE PERIODIC TABLE
A chemical element is a substance that cannot be broken down by chemical reaction to a simpler substance, e.g., iron, aluminum, calcium, potassium, carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. It can be solid, liquid, or gas.
Recently, Dr. Okenwa Nwosu’s grandchild, aged 4 years old, performed the feat of reciting, from memory, the names of ALL THE ELEMENTS ON EARTH arranged in a “Periodic Table”, which is a tabular array of the chemical elements organized by atomic number – from the element with the lowest atomic number, hydrogen, to the element with the highest atomic number, Oganesson.
The importance of the Periodic Table is that it demystifies our environment because everything on earth is made of one or more of those elements on the table. Furthermore, each element has its own unique rule of behavior – which it must obey.
Chemistry is the study of the rules of behavior of each of those 118 elements. Once you know those rules, you become the fearless master of the universe. You are no longer intimidated by the b.s. of any unknown substance used for frightening an ignoramus because you can appreciate what is possible and what is not possible with any given substance. You will begin to live out the Igbo proverb: alusi kpaba ike agwa ya osisi ejili tu ya (if an idol becomes too powerful, you remind it of the name of the tree from which it was sculpted). Therefore, knowing the Periodic Table is the key to freedom from fear of any “ju-ju”/occultic substance on earth. For instance, I once had a conversation with a pastor who felt he had done wonders by having the courage to burn the occultic Sixth & Seventh Book of Moses. I tactfully informed him that the printed paper which he burned was only a dried pulp of a tree, consisting basically of the elements carbon, hydrogen and oxygen as found on the Periodic Table.

SCIENCE
BASIC SCIENCE consists of Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
CHEMISTRY is the study of the elements on the Periodic Table composing the universe and their unique laws of behavior.
PHYSICS is the study of the physical forces or transfer of energy obeyed by the universe.
BIOLOGY is the application of Chemistry and Physics to living organisms.
No country can make meaningful progress in the modern world without a universal understanding of some basic science.

FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF GOD’S MASTERPIECE OF THE CREATION
Of the 118 elements on the Periodic Table, CARBON forms the skeletal basket that holds the clay of life together. This skeletal function is so central to life that its interrelationships with other elements, especially HYDROGEN and OXYGEN (the spirit of God), are called ORGANIC CHEMISTRY.
The interrelationships between the rest of the elements on the Periodic Table, excluding CARBON, are called INORGANIC CHEMISTRY.
In other words, once CARBON steps into the picture, it becomes ORGANIC CHEMISTRY.
BIOCHEMISTRY is a further spinoff of ORGANIC or CARBON CHEMISTRY. It is the relationships of CARBON that are endogenous or native to the body, as opposed to its other relationships not found naturally in the body, e.g., in drugs or petrochemicals.
Isn’t God wonderful?

FINAL NOTE ON THE PERIODIC TABLE
- It is important to understand that every substance on earth is composed of various combinations of elements on the Periodic Table.
- Every element on that table must behave in a predictable manner that is determined by its atomic number.
-
Once a substance can be analyzed into its constituent elements, one can predict what it can and cannot do.
-
Scientists are never intimidated by a substance, no matter however packaged – whether wrapped in white, black, or red cloth, collected from the most powerful juju, dipped in chicken blood, raw egg yolk, or whatever – because, in the final analysis, it is composed of known elements on the periodic table.
- Once one dons rubber gloves and wears a face mask to avoid self-contamination with possible germs, one can handle it freely.
-
Exceptions are the extremely rare substances with very high atomic numbers like uranium which are radioactive and whose radiation can damage the cells of the body – no one exempted.
-
On a religious note, science is the “forbidden fruit” that man has ALREADY been punished for eating in the book of Genesis; enjoy it.
